Accepting payments in a form was already possible in MixForms. But now this feature is completely redesigned and improved allowing more flexibility and better styling when accepting payments in your form.
You start with adding a payment field to your form. This field will give an overview of the costs. How this value is computed is now more flexible. You can choose how this value is generated, for instance based on the user’s choice or a fixed amount.
A payment consists of one or more price fields, add a price field for each item or product. For instance, when selling tickets through a form, you add a choice field with different options (for instance seating area A/B/C).
Then you add a price field with the value dependent on the choice field. This field is not visible on your form but communicates with the payment field for the total amount.
You can add unlimited price fields to your form. For instance you could add a field for consumption included (yes/no) and a field for pre-order cd (yes/no). This way you will end up with a nice overview of the total costs.
